Garlic Chicken Recipe At Home
Garlic Chicken Recipe
Half a kg of boneless chicken (in cube form)
2. Plain flour (maida) – ½ cup
3. Corn flour – ¼ cup
4. Garlic paste – 1 tsp
5. Pepper powder – 1 tsp
6. Egg – 1
7. Salt – to taste
Method
1. Make a semi-thick batter by combining all of the above ingredients, except the chicken, and adding very little water if more is needed. Prepare a marinade for the chicken by coating it in this batter and letting it sit in the refrigerator for at least two hours, but ideally overnight.
2. Fry the chicken pieces over medium-low heat in a skillet with plenty of oil until the chicken is cooked and a light golden brown hue has developed.
OTHER INGREDIENTS
1. Garlic (chopped) – 2 tbsp
2. Spring onion – 1 tbsp
3. Onion – 2 (diced)
4. Capsicum – 1 (diced)
5. Green chilli – 1
6. Red chilli powder – ¼ tsp
7. Pepper powder – 1 ½ tsp
8. Soy sauce – 1 ½ tsp
9. Water – 1 ½ cup
10. Corn flour – 2 tbsp + water- ¼ cup (mix it)
11. Salt – to taste
12. Oil – 3 tbsp
13. sesame seeds
Method
1. Fry the chopped garlic and spring onions in oil over medium heat. To this, add the onion, capsicum, and green chilli and saute on medium-high flame for about 2–3 minutes.
2. Add the red chilli powder and pepper powder to this, and then continue to sauté the mixture until oil forms. Salt should also be added to this before the soy sauce combines.
3. Bring a mug’s water to a boil and pour it in here. Now, while stirring constantly, whisk in the cornflour mixture. Reduce heat to low and stir in the fried chicken when it returns to a boil.
4. Let it cook for another 3–4 minutes, then remove from the flame. Serve hot.
