BAKLAVA ROLL HOMEMADE RECIPE
Baklava Roll Recipe
INGREDIENTS:-
- All-purpose flour – 200 grams
- Salt – 1/2 teaspoon
- Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon
- Oil – 1 tablespoon
- Warm water – 100 milliliters
- Pistachios – 50 grams
- Almonds – 50 grams
- Sugar – 200 grams
- Water – 200 milliliters
- Lemon juice – 1 tablespoon
- Cinnamon stick – 1/2
- All-purpose flour – 50 grams
- Corn flour – 100 grams
- Butter – 60 milliliters
- Pistachios – for garnishing
PREPARATION:-
In a mixing bowl, add 200 grams all-purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon oil.
Now, slowly add 100 milliliters of warm water and knead it into a soft dough.
Rest the dough for 1 hour.
In a blender, add 50 grams pistachios, 50 grams of almonds and blend them well into a fine powder. Set aside.
In a pan, add 200 grams sugar, 200 milliliters of water, and cook until the sugar melts properly.
Now, add 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1/2 cinnamon stick, and mix it well.
Remove the pan from heat. Set aside.
In a mixing bowl, add 50 grams all-purpose flour, 100 grams cornflour, and mix it well.
Set aside.
Now, take a small ball from the dough, dust some prepared flour mixture, and flatten it with the help of a roller.
Cut from all the sides with the help of a cutter to make a rectangle and remove the extra dough.
Remove the extra flour with the help of a brush.
Then, brush some butter on it, sprinkle some blended nuts powder and cover it with another flattened dough.
Brush some butter over it and repeat the same process 1-2 times.
Now, roll it with the help of your hands.
Then, transfer it into a dish.
Cut the rolls from the middle and brush some butter on them.
Preheat the oven to 400°F/200°C.
Bake for at least 25-30 minutes.
Remove it from the oven and pour prepared warm sugar syrup on them.
Soak them for 2 hours.
Add the baklava roll to a serving dish.
Garnish it with pistachios & Serve.
