Chicken Cheese Balls Recipe
For the chicken mixture
1. Chopped boneless chicken of approximately 250 grams
2. One teaspoon of white pepper powder (or half as much black pepper powder if you only have black pepper)
3. Coriander leaves – 2 tsp
4. Butter – 2 tbsp
5. Garlic (finely chopped) – 1 tbsp
6. Red chilli flakes – ¾ tsp
7. Oregano – ½ tsp
8. Shredded mozzarella cheese—1/4 cup (or more for additional cheese)
9. Salt – to taste
Method
1. Mix the ground chicken, white pepper powder, chopped coriander leaves, and salt in a basin.
2. Heat butter over low heat, add chopped garlic, red chilli flakes, and oregano, and cook until a wonderful fragrance appears. Cool it for 2-3 minutes after removing it from the burner. Mix this into ground chicken. This mixture should be used to make eight to ten balls.
3. Carefully smooth each chicken ball in your hand, place a small piece of mozzarella cheese in the centre, and wrap the chicken mixture around it to form a ball. To finish the remaining chicken balls, repeat the steps above.
Other ingredients
1. All-purpose flour – ¼ cup
2. Red chilli flakes – ¼ tsp
3. Egg whites – 2
4. Bread crumbs – 1 ¼ cup
5. Salt – to taste
6. Oil – for deep frying
Method
1. Flour, red chilli flakes, and a pinch of salt should be combined in a bowl and then stirred.
2. Roll the prepared chicken-cheese balls in the flour mixture until completely coated.
3. Roll the balls in flour, egg white, bread crumbs, and then flour again. Place it in the refrigerator for approximately an hour to get it cold.
4. Fry the chicken cheese balls in oil over medium heat, flipping them regularly, until golden brown. The chicken cheese balls will remain raw in the center if the oil is too hot in a hot dish.
